It is so sad that Niger Republic is lining up with Russia and denouncing France; It is not as though France has been fair, but Putin can never be trusted.
All Vladimir Putin wants is to tap from African countries Uranium and other mineral resources to power Russia and set off his nuclear weapons. They ( Russia) don’t love you. It is so sad these African countries and leaders cannot see through this and the resulting catastrophic effect that awaits them. Writing off African countries loans is just a bait by Puttin
All we need for Nigeria’s President is to mind his business, because any wrong move will cost Nigeria a lot, from the megalomaniac called Putin, a looming Armageddon awaits. The US or Britain will not interfere if things escalate and if they are forced, it becomes a full blown war! We should learn from the on-going Ukrainian Russian ongoing war that is taking the shape of a catastrophe! Nigeria will be “nuked” and Africa will suffer! President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should thread softly and shouldn’t interfere all in the name of preaching or defending democracy in Africa, especially the sub-region.
Our military should not be used to fight battles beyond especially when Russia, is trying to ally with other African countries among others to spite the West, US in particular and look for alternate continent for Russia’s continued survival.
So many persons do not know that some African countries especially the francophone are presently having uprisings against their former colonial master, France and shifting and affiliating themselves with Russia all of a sudden. Nigeria’s President, being the leader of ECOWAS is currently not safe and will most likely be in a conondrum as to what needs to be done after the expiration of one week ultimatum handed the Coupist in Niger Republic to restore the ousted democratically elected President.
His reaction and decision to all the uprising and ongoing upheavals in that tiny Republic can determine the security of and safety of other African countries, Nigeria and Nigerians inclusive
President Tinubu should take his time to analyze this, let set aside our ethnic differences, political party affiliations, religious denominations, speak out and pray for Nigeria.
This is not what Nigeria or Nigerians need now. We have our own internal security to deal with, economic instability, and dilapidated social amenities and infrastructures to fix.
If we are not careful, 2nd world war will become child’s play. This is for the whole world to know and ponder on!
