Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has filed a petition with the presidential elections tribunal in Abuja.
The Chief Spokesman of the LP Presidential Campaign Council, Yunusa Tanko, announced this via Twitter in the early hours of Tuesday, March 21.
He stated that Peter Obi’s process of reclaiming the people’s mandate has begun. Yunusa revealed this via his Twitter handle on Tuesday.

He wrote:
It is official the Labor Party Presidential candidate Peter OBI has filed his petition to the presidential elections tribunal in Abuja. The process of reclaiming the people’s mandate has started.
Recall that Peter Obi, who finished third in the election, and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who finished second, are both suing over the results of the February 25 election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has since declared candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the presidential poll. He and is running mate, Kashim Shettima have also received their Certificates of Return from the Commission.
