Judge Bala Usman of the Federal High Court in Jalingo has declared that Senator Emmanuel Bwacha will not be removed off the list of candidates for Governor of Taraba State by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The APC’s legitimately elected candidate for governor in the state’s March 18 election, according to the court, is Bwacha.
Judge Usman stated that it is crucial to uphold the Supreme Court’s decision, which includes an accompanying order mandating the APC to have a new primary in which Emmanuel was declared the party’s nominee.
After deciding the petition brought by the APC and requesting that the INEC not remove its candidate from its website or ballot ahead of the Governorship election, the court affirmed Bwacha’s candidacy.
