Gov Fubara swears in 16 new permanent secretaries

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, on Tuesday swore in 16 newly appointed permanent secretaries at the Executive Council Chambers of the Government House in Port Harcourt.

The governor urged the newly appointed permanent secretaries to exhibit decisiveness and diligence in their roles to support the administration in fulfilling its commitments, emphasizing the government’s dedication to enhancing the well-being and security of the people.

Acknowledging the vital role of permanent secretaries in achieving the set mandates, Fubara encouraged them to uphold integrity and resist any misconduct within their ministries, assuring them of his commitment to righteousness.

Following the ceremony, the newly sworn-in permanent secretaries were promptly provided with official vehicles.
