A leading gubernatorial aspirant in Osun State, Mr ‘Kunle Rasheed Adegoke, popularly known as K-Rad has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls in Nigeria and Osun State in particular.

This was contained in a Sallah message he issued in Osogbo.

Adegoke particularly enjoins Muslims to continue to imbibe the virtues taught by the holy month of Ramadan. According to him, ‘the spirit of perseverance, self-restraint, empathy, humility, peaceful relations and kindness which the just ended month of Ramadan encouraged should not be abandoned after the month. We should continue to imbibe those sterling virtues in our day-to-day activities.’

The gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress also seizes the medium to encourage the people of Osun State to show more interest in the choice of who succeeds the incumbent governor of the state during the forthcoming primary and general elections.

As we are marching out of a spiritual session we will be marching into a critical political session in Osun. It is not an accident that our moment of a critical political decision is preceded by a session of spiritual interfacing with God. However, while we look up to God to choose for us, we should not abandon our own duty of due diligence in searching for the best and the most-prepared to lead us. Like someone once wrote: “This is the time when the populace and the delegates should work in synergy, in the ultimate interest of the state. Elections will come and go but the state will remain for everyone to live in. Its economy will also be there for all to contend with.” So choosing right is the answer. May we all be rightly guided.’ K-Rad concluded.
