Katsina PDP attacks Oyegun for calling it ‘dead’

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has berated the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC, John Oyegun for referring to it as ‘Dead’

Oyegun had declared that the massive and high profile officers that crossed to the ruling APC in Katsina signifies the dead of PDP and other parties in the state.

Speaking during the rally, Oyegun believed that APC remained the party to beat noting that PDP and others are dead in Katsina.

According to him, the massive influx was as a result of acceptance of the efforts of the APC led government of President Muhammadu Buhari adding that ‘ the president works and that of his disciples have endured many.

However, the state PDP chairman Salisu Majigiri in a chat with newsmen on Saturday said Oyegun assertion is far from the truth noting that PDP in Katsina is strong and virile.

According to him, what oyegun saw was a rented crowd of persons paid from Zamfara and other neighbouring states noting that the crowd was just an illusion that cannot hold waters in reality.

“How can a state that produce a president from the PDP can be said to be dead, this is untrue and cannot be accepted’ he said

Majigiri refer Oyegun to the recent bye election result which the party is presently challenging noting that   from what INEC declares as our votes alone you can’t say PDP is dead.
