VIDEO: Angry residents boo Obaseki, PDP leaders during visit to Oba of Benin’s palace
Some angry residents on Saturday staged a protest against Governor Godwin Obaseki and other Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors and leaders who came on a courtesy call to the palace of the Oba of Benin on Saturday.
The convoy met scores of angry Benin residents, who blocked the convoy and called the governor and the PDP “ole”, meaning thieves.

Meanwhile, the governor in a reaction about the incident accused billionaire Hosa Okunbo as the mastermind of the scornful display.
