The police on Wednesday arrested a suspended member, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege (APC, Delta State) after he allegedly led some thugs numbering about ten to invade and cart away the mace from the Senate.
The embattled senator, who sat through plenary, walked out as the session ended at 1.48pm.
He walked into the hands of policemen who were waiting at the entrance of the chamber.
