A reporter with Channels TV, Precious Owolabi, who was shot during a protest by Shi’ites members at the Federal Secretariat, Abuja, is dead.
The 23-year-old member of the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) was shot during crossfire of gun battle between the police and the protesters.

His death brings to three the number of those who have dies from the protest around noon today.
Recall that a Shi’ite member, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations in Abuja and now Owolabi are the trio confirmed dead from the bloody encounter.
Many injured persons are believed to be on critical list in the hospital with at least 54 Shi’ites members arrested.
