Governor Ambode Signs 7 New Bills Into Law, Guarantees 24 hours Power Supply

Seven bills were signed into law by Governor Ambode of Lagos State today.

The most significant  is the Electricity Power Sector Reform Law which gives legal backing to the Embedded Power Programme.

According to the governor, this will help in achieving the electricity generation plan to provide a 24-hour uninterrupted electricity supply in Lagos state.

Other bills signed into law today are:

The Amended Land Use Charge Bill

The School of Nursing Bill

The Cooperative College Bill

The Cancer Research Institute Bill

The Amended Customary Court Bill and

The Yoruba Language Preservation bill
