The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has released the roster for the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup, which will be held in Argentina.

In a 21-man squad, Flying Eagles head coach Ladan Bosso has chosen three goalkeepers, six defenders, six midfielders, and six forwards.

Trelleborg central defender Abel Ogwuche, Botev Plodviv combo Ume Emmanuel and Tochukwu Nnadi, and AC Milan junior squad midfielder Victor Eletu have all been called up for the World Cup.

Goalkeeper Chijoke Aniagboso and defender Daniel Bameyi, who were part of the Super Eagles squad for the back-to-back 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Guinea Bissau, have been included on the roster.

The Flying Eagles are boosted by the return of midfielder Daniel Daga, who has seemingly returned to full fitness after suffering an injury at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Nigeria will open group play against the Dominican Republic on May 21, followed by matches against Italy and Brazil on May 24 and May 27 respectively.
