Jamaica eliminated Brazil from the 2023 Women’s World Cup on Wednesday with a goalless draw, securing a spot among the last 16 teams in the tournament’s next stage.
The 0-0 draw assured that Jamaica reached the World Cup knockout stage for the first time in its history.
According to a GOAL report via Twitter, Jamaica had to set up a GoFundMe to pay for their trip to the Women’s World Cup jointly hosted by New Zealand and Australia.
