2025 NBA All-Star game to be hosted in San Francisco

The NBA has revealed that the 2025 All-Star game will take place at the Chase Center, the home in San Francisco. This announcement was made on Monday.

In a statement, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver confirmed that the 74th installment of the mid-season showcase is scheduled for February 16, 2025.

“We are thrilled to host our NBA All-Star festivities in the San Francisco Bay Area, where there is a long and storied history of basketball,” said Silver.

The on-court activities for the NBA All-Star festivities will commence on February 14 with a matchup between rookie players and those in their second year in the NBA.

This year’s All-Star game is set to take place in Indianapolis, marking the first time the city has hosted the event since 1985.

The 2024 All-Star game will return to the conventional format of Eastern Conference versus Western Conference, potentially paving the way for stars like LeBron James and rising French talent Victor Wembanyama to be on the same team.
