The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), on Wednesday, announced it would be transmitting all the 52 matches of the African Cup of Nations scheduled to take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024, in Ivory Coast.

The largest television network in Africa conveyed this information through its X handle following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Afro Sports.

It tweeted, “NTA signs Memorandum of Understanding with Afro Sports for transmission of 52 matches of Africa Cup Of Nations in Cote D’ivoire.”

Last Wednesday, Multichoice, the parent company of DStv, announced that the forthcoming African Cup of Nations tournament would not be aired on its platform.

The satellite service cited its inability to secure broadcasting rights for the continent’s premier football event on its SuperSport channels.
