AFCON 2025: Chelle, Super Eagles backroom staff, arrive Egypt

The Super Eagles are set to commence preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday (today).

Head coach Eric Chelle, along with his assistants and backroom staff, arrived in Cairo on Saturday.

The team is currently camped at the Renaissance Hotels in Cairo.

Meanwhile, Omonia Nicosia goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has arrived at the team’s camp.

Most of the players included in Chelle’s squad are expected to report later today.

The Super Eagles will face the Pharaohs of Egypt in an international friendly at the Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday.

Following the match against Egypt, the team will depart for Morocco on a chartered flight.
