Nigerian music icon Davido is set to take the stage at the official opening concert of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Afrobeats star will feature as one of the main attractions at the much-anticipated event, alongside international acts including French Montana, Douaa Lahyaoui, Says’z, and Lartiste.
The kick-off concert will hold on Saturday at the Olm Souissi Fan Zone in Rabat, with entry open to fans who possess valid Fan IDs and match tickets.
Davido is no stranger to major sporting events. He previously performed at the opening ceremony of AFCON 2017, the 2022 FIFA World Cup draw in Doha, and the 2023 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards. He also appeared at the opening ceremony of the 2024 National Sports Festival hosted by Ogun State.
The AFCON 2025 tournament officially begins on Sunday, with host nation Morocco facing Comoros in the opening match at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah in Rabat.
