The Super Eagles star, Alex Iwobi, has returned to social media following the criticism he faced after Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final match against Cote d’Ivoire.
Following the Nigerian team’s 2-1 loss to the hosts, there was a wave of criticism directed at the Fulham star. In response, 27-year-old Iwobi deleted all posts from his Instagram handle. However, he received support from the Federal Government, fellow footballers, and others.
Weeks later, the Super Eagle made a comeback on the platform, sharing a video with the caption, “Lately.”
