Amad Diallo faces season-ending Ankle injury blow

Manchester United forward Amad Diallo could miss the rest of the season after suffering ankle ligament damage, according to reports on Saturday.

Diallo is believed to have sustained the injury in training, though United have yet to confirm the full extent as the 22-year-old awaits further tests.

The Ivorian international had been one of United’s standout performers in a difficult season, scoring crucial goals against Manchester City and Liverpool.

With six goals in his last 14 appearances, his absence would be a major setback for manager Ruben Amorim.

Amorim had already hinted at injury concerns ahead of Sunday’s clash with Tottenham, and reports suggest midfielders Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, and Toby Collyer have also picked up knocks.

United are already without Lisandro Martínez, who suffered a season-ending ACL injury, while Luke Shaw, Jonny Evans, Mason Mount, and Altay Bayindir remain sidelined.

In response, academy players, including 17-year-old Chido Obi, have been promoted to first-team training.

United currently sit 13th in the Premier League, with Tottenham just two points behind.
