Arsenal have been drawn against reigning champions Barcelona in the league phase of the 2026/27 UEFA Women’s Champions League, setting up an early blockbuster clash in the competition.
The draw conducted by UEFA on Friday also handed the Gunners fixtures against OL Lyonnes, Benfica, Paris FC, HB Koge and Inter Milan.
Arsenal, who reached the semi-finals last season, will host Lyon, Benfica and HB Koge, while travelling to face Barcelona, Paris FC and Inter Milan.
Chelsea have also been handed a challenging league-phase schedule, with French giants Paris Saint-Germain and OL Lyonnes among their opponents.
The Women’s Super League champions will face PSG, Roma and Austria Wien at home, while travelling to Lyon, BK Hacken and OH Leuven.
Manchester City, returning to the competition for the first time since the 2024/25 season, will also face a demanding set of fixtures.
City will take on PSG, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, BK Hacken, Austria Wien and Inter Milan, with the French champions and Spanish giants among the standout opponents.
The league phase begins on September 22 and runs until December 16, with all three English clubs facing six opponents.
Matchday one is scheduled for September 22 and 23, followed by the second round of fixtures on September 30 and October 1.
The competition will resume with Matchday Three on October 28 and 29, Matchday Four on November 10 and 11, and Matchday Five on November 18 and 19, before the final league-phase matches on December 16.
The knockout phase play-offs will take place in February 2027, followed by the quarter-finals in March and April and the semi-finals in May.
The final is scheduled to hold at the Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw on May 28, 29 or 30, 2027.
