Barcelona are reportedly considering a potential move for Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to Barca Universal, the 27-year-old is among several forwards being monitored by the Spanish club as they plan for life after Robert Lewandowski.
Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez is believed to be the top target to replace Lewandowski, but uncertainty surrounding a deal for the Argentine has prompted Barcelona to explore other options for the No. 9 role.
The club is said to have identified multiple candidates who fit their preferred profile, as they prepare to strengthen their attacking line in the upcoming transfer window.
Osimhen is one of the players under consideration, although reports suggest he is not currently the leading option.
The Nigerian striker has returned to prominence following two impressive seasons at Galatasaray, scoring 56 goals in 70 appearances. He remains under contract with the club until 2029.
Despite his strong record, concerns reportedly persist over his temperament, which played a role in his departure from Napoli in 2024.
Meanwhile, other strikers previously linked with Barcelona are no longer being pursued.
Dusan Vlahovic, who is yet to extend his contract with Juventus, had emerged as a possible low-cost option, but the club is unconvinced he is the right fit to lead the attack.
Benjamin Sesko, who joined Manchester United from RB Leipzig in a €76.5 million move after being identified as a future prospect, has also fallen out of favour following underwhelming performances, and is no longer being considered.
