Bayer Leverkusen, the reigning German champions, are offering their supporters complimentary club tattoos as a tribute to their victorious season and remarkable unbeaten streak.

Under the management of Xabi Alonso, the team has remained undefeated in all competitions this season and is still in contention for a treble after securing a spot in the Europa League final on Thursday.

The squad extended their unbeaten run to 49 matches this season by staging a comeback to secure a 2-2 draw against Roma, resulting in a 4-2 aggregate victory.

This accomplishment surpasses Benfica’s longstanding European record established between 1963 and 1965.

Leverkusen described the tattoos offer as “a special action at the end of a special season”.

“Bayer 04 are offering fans, until the end of the season, the opportunity to choose one of the many Bayer 04 tattoos for free.

“Book your appointment now to eternalise this unique season on your skin.”

After sealing their first ever Bundesliga title, Leverkusen are also through to the German Cup final – where they will face Kaiserslautern.
