Dayot Upamecano, a defender for Bayern Munich, has cited Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain as the best player in the world of football.
This is despite the fact that the Bayern Munich player successfully contained Mbappe during the German team’s 3-0 overall victory over PSG in the Champions League round of 16.
Upamecano, a member of the French national squad, made this known to talkSPORT.
“It’s much easier to have him in your team. You have to always be well balanced, ready to move in any direction; to be vigilant, watching his positioning on the pitch and also his body language.
“He is the best player in the world – he is extraordinary,” Upamecano said.
In the elite league of Europe, Bayern Munich easily defeated PSG despite the Parisians fielding players like Neymar Junior, Sergio Ramos, Lionel Messi, Mbappe, and others.
Mbappe has played 35 games across competitions and scored 31 goals thus far.
