Bellingham scores header against Napoli, sets new Champions League record

Jude Bellingham continued his remarkable goal-scoring streak by scoring in his fourth consecutive UEFA Champions League match against Napoli.

The young English player has smoothly adjusted to his life at Real Madrid, consistently demonstrating his scoring skills throughout the season, and he continued this trend on Wednesday.

Following his contribution to Madrid’s 3-0 win over Cadiz in La Liga, Bellingham seized the opportunity presented by a well-placed cross from David Alaba, scoring the opening goal for Los Blancos.

This goal not only finalized the comeback for the 14-time Champions League winners but also secured his place in the club’s history.

At the age of only 20, Bellingham has reached a significant milestone, becoming the initial Real Madrid player to score in his first four UEFA Champions League appearances.

In the process, the former Borussia Dortmund captain also secured a unique place in history as the first English player to achieve 10 Champions League goals before reaching the age of 21.

His impact on the game didn’t stop there; the winner of the 2023 Golden Boy Award showcased his skills by delivering an assist reminiscent of Luka Modric. With a pass executed with the outside of his boots, Bellingham set up Spanish striker Joselu, who confidently sealed the match.
