Crystal Palace have had an £18.5m bid for Blackburn midfielder Adam Wharton rejected.
Born in Blackburn, the 19-year-old made his inaugural appearance for the Championship club in August 2022 and has accumulated 44 appearances since.
In December, he prolonged his contract until the conclusion of the 2027-28 season.
Throughout this season, Crystal Palace has been monitoring his performance, with Newcastle, Everton, and Tottenham also expressing interest in the promising youngster.
The under-20 England international shares the field with his older brother Scott at Blackburn.
