Brazilian midfielder Luis Guilherme is scheduled for a medical with West Ham this week as the club nears a €30 million (£25.5 million) deal for the 18-year-old.
If the deal goes through, Guilherme would be West Ham’s first signing since Julen Lopetegui took over as manager from David Moyes at the end of last season.
West Ham’s director of football, Tim Steidten, has been in Brazil working to strengthen Lopetegui’s squad.
The teenager would be the first player signed under Steidten’s leadership of the club’s transfer activities.
Guilherme debuted for Palmeiras at 17 in 2023 and has played in this season’s Copa Libertadores.
