BREAKING: Amaju Pinnick re-elected as NFF president

The incumbent Nigeria Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick on Thursday made history as he was re-elected for a second term in office.

Pinnick will lead Nigeria’s football governing body till 2022.

He scored a total of 34 votes, Maigari 8 votes, Ogunjobi 2 votes, and Okoye 0 votes.

Recall that the minister of youth and sports development Solomon Dalung has dissociated himself from Thursday’s Nigeria football federation elections.

Dalung described the election as illegal based on the Supreme Court ruling of April 27 which ordered that the case over leadership tussle in the NFF be relisted at the federal high court Jos.
