Brighton & Hove Albion may consider selling striker Evan Ferguson during the January transfer window if they receive an acceptable offer.
Ferguson, who is recovering from an ankle injury, has struggled for a regular place in Fabian Hurzeler’s squad even when fit.
The 20-year-old Republic of Ireland international has made 12 Premier League appearances this season, with 10 of those coming off the bench.
His only goal this campaign came in a draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers in October, marking his first since November 2023.
Despite his early promise, including a standout 2022-23 season that earned him a PFA Young Player of the Year nomination, Ferguson’s recent form has dipped.
Brighton had initially explored loan options for the forward but are now open to a permanent sale. However, the club has already rejected at least one offer from another Premier League side.
Top-flight English clubs, including Arsenal and West Ham United, are reportedly interested in signing Ferguson, while Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen have also been linked to the young striker.
