British boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is prepared to face Tyson Fury.

Hearn spoke following Joshua’s sixth-round victory over YouTube personality-turned-boxer Jake Paul at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, on Saturday.

The two-time world champion was pushed by his far less experienced opponent but eventually asserted his physical advantage, using his size and power to secure the win in the later rounds of the scheduled eight-round bout.

After the fight, Hearn said he is keen for a showdown between Joshua and Fury to take place in 2026.

“We want the Tyson Fury fight. That’s the biggest fight in boxing.

“Respect to Jake Paul, he did a great job. 2026, back to the real business. Tyson Fury and the world heavyweight championship.”

Fury, like Joshua, is a multiple-time heavyweight world champion and also hails from England, although the long-anticipated clash between the two has yet to happen.
