Chelsea agree £29m deal for Brazil wonderkid Estevao
Chelsea are set to sign 17-year-old winger Estevao Willian from Palmeiras after agreeing to an initial fee of €34 million (£29 million).
The deal includes performance-related add-ons for the highly-rated Brazilian talent.
This signing aligns with Chelsea’s ongoing strategy of acquiring the best young talent globally, marking another significant investment by the club.
Recently, the Blues have signed several young players from South America, including Andrey Santos, Deivid Washington, Angelo, and 17-year-old Ecuadorian forward Kendry Paez, who will join in 2025 from Independiente del Valle.
Additionally, Chelsea have brought in Sam Jewell from Brighton, where he was part of their global talent-spotting network, with a focus on South America.
