Brazilian winger Estevao Willian is set to join Chelsea next summer, while the club is also in negotiations to acquire Argentine defender Aaron Anselmino.
Chelsea has reached an agreement to secure the services of Estevao, 17, from Palmeiras for an initial fee of £29 million, along with performance-related add-ons.
The Brazil Under-17 international has showcased his talents with four goals in 17 senior appearances across the Brazilian Serie A, Copa do Brasil, and Copa Libertadores.
Meanwhile, Anselmino has attracted an official offer from Boca Juniors, reportedly valued between £12 million and £15 million.
The 19-year-old center-back is expected to move on loan to Chelsea’s partner club Strasbourg, which is also under the ownership of Chelsea’s parent company, BlueCo.
The pursuit of Estevao and Anselmino aligns with BlueCo’s strategy of acquiring promising young talent globally, particularly from South America.
Estevao joins fellow Brazilians Andrey Santos, Deivid Washington, and Angelo Gabriel in committing to Chelsea, while the club also anticipates the arrival of 17-year-old Ecuadorian forward Kendry Paez from Independiente del Valle in 2025.
