Chelsea have signed Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho on loan until the end of the season.
The deal includes an obligation for Chelsea to purchase the 24-year-old England international next summer for a fee ranging between £20-25 million.
Sancho initially joined United in July 2021 in a £73 million transfer from German club Borussia Dortmund, but he has struggled during his time at Old Trafford.
Over three seasons, he made 83 appearances but had a notable fallout with manager Erik ten Hag, which resulted in him training away from the first team.
After returning to Dortmund on loan in January, Sancho came back to United in the summer but has not been included in the squad for their first two Premier League games this season.
His last appearance for England was in 2021, and he was not selected for Euro 2024 or the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
