Christian Eriksen has regained consciousness after collapsing during Denmark’s friendly match against Ukraine.
Video footage captured Eriksen falling to the ground in the second half, leading to the abandonment of the game.
“Christian Eriksen is conscious and is doing well under the circumstances,” the federation said in a statement on X.
Eriksen previously collapsed during a European Championship fixture in Copenhagen in 2021 and received life-saving CPR treatment.
He was subsequently fitted with a specialized heart device called an Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator (ICD), which can help restore a normal heartbeat when needed.
