Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé is undergoing treatment for a right calf issue ahead of the Champions League final against Arsenal later this month.
The club confirmed on Monday that the Ballon d’Or winner felt discomfort during Sunday’s 2-1 Ligue 1 defeat to Paris FC and was substituted after about 30 minutes as a precaution.
“Dembélé will be having treatment over the next few days,” PSG said.
Although he did not appear visibly injured when he left the pitch, the French forward is now being monitored closely as the final approaches.
Coach Luis Enrique suggested the issue may be related to fatigue, noting that the player was not seriously distressed during the match.
Dembélé has endured several injury setbacks this season, particularly involving his thigh and calf, raising concerns about his availability for the season’s biggest match.
PSG also face additional fitness updates, with players such as Achraf Hakimi, Willian Pacho, Nuno Mendes, and Lucas Chevalier all returning to individual training after recent injuries.
UEFA Champions League Final is scheduled for May 30 in Budapest, where PSG will aim to defend their European title.
