Chidera Ejuke scored his maiden LaLiga goal as Sevilla defeated Real Valladolid 2-1 in their LaLiga clash at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Tuesday night.
In the Spanish top division, it was the Rojiblancos’ second victory of the year.
Ejuke replaced Jesus Navas in the 61st minute after starting the game on the bench.
Just before halftime, Gerard Peque had given Sevilla the lead; however, 56 minutes later, Kike Perez had equalized for Valladolid.
The winning goal, nevertheless, was scored five minutes from time by Ejuke. Two minutes after the hour, Suso took Kelechi Iheanacho’s place, his fellow countryman, who had started the game.
After the victory, Sevilla rose to the 12th spot in the standings.
