Arsenal have confirmed that Declan Rice has been voted the club’s Men’s Player of the Season for a second successive year after leading the 2024/25 fan poll.
The England midfielder retained the award after receiving 44% of the votes, following another impressive campaign for the Gunners. Rice played a key role as Arsenal won the Premier League title for the first time in 20 years and reached the Champions League final for only the second time in the club’s history.
David Raya came second in the voting, while Gabriel Magalhães finished third.
Rice has now become just the sixth player in Arsenal’s history to win the award in back-to-back seasons. He joins club greats Liam Brady and Ian Wright, alongside current teammates Bukayo Saka and Martin Ødegaard.
His ability to perform both defensively and further forward has made him a vital part of Arsenal’s midfield. He also posed a significant threat from set pieces during the campaign. In all competitions, Rice recorded nine assists and five goals, including two in Arsenal’s January meeting with Bournemouth.
The midfielder topped Arsenal’s statistics for chances created with 96, tackles with 239 and possession recoveries with 239. He appeared in 55 matches and played 4,456 minutes, the highest among the club’s outfield players. Rice has also made more than 50 appearances in each of his three seasons at Arsenal.
After finishing second in the 2023/24 Player of the Year voting during his debut season, Rice has gone on to win the honour in each of his next two campaigns.
His individual achievements extended beyond the club award, as he was named in the Champions League Team of the Season and nominated for both the Premier League Player of the Season and PFA Player of the Year awards.
Rice will now turn his attention to England duty as he prepares for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, with the midfielder looking to add further honours to an already successful period of his career.
