The Meyerside Reds secured a victory against West Ham at Anfield Stadium on Sunday, triumphing with a score of 3-1.

Mohamed Salah made the breakthrough in the 15th minute after being fouled by Aguerd in the penalty box.

Salah calmly placed the penalty kick into the center of the goal, sending Areola diving the opposite way.

The visitors leveled the score just three minutes before halftime thanks to Jarred Bowen’s strike in the 42nd minute.

Nunez came close to giving the home team the lead when Salah managed to nudge the ball toward him in a crowded West Ham penalty area.

The Uruguayan sent the ball wide, narrowly missing the post.

Then, in the 60th minute, Nunez furthered Liverpool’s lead by gracefully receiving a deftly-tipped pass from Mac Allister. With precision, the striker calmly directed the ball past Areola.

Substitute Diogo Jota replaced Luis Diaz in the final nine minutes of the game.

Jota made his mark on the score sheet just four minutes after entering the game.

Robertson delivered a corner kick that was headed in his direction by Van Dijk. The Portuguese player calmly slotted the ball into the net.

This win against the Hammers adds to Liverpool’s impressive unbeaten record in all competitions, following their draw in the season opener against Chelsea.

Securing their fifth league victory, Liverpool remain just two points behind the league leaders, Manchester City.
