Goals from Estevao and Casemiro secured a 2–0 win for Brazil over Senegal in an international friendly played at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
The victory marked Brazil’s first-ever triumph against Senegal in three meetings, with the Teranga Lions having previously recorded one win and one draw against the five-time world champions.
Senegal featured key players such as Sadio Mane, Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly, Ismaila Sarr, and Idrissa Gana Gueye, while Brazil lined up stars including Gabriel, Vinicius, Matheus Cunha, Marquinhos, Militao, and Bruno Guimaraes.
The Selecao entered the match looking to bounce back from a 3–2 loss to Japan in their earlier friendly.
Brazil opened the scoring in the 28th minute when Estevao smashed home his fourth international goal in five outings, bending a superb shot into the bottom-left corner.
Casemiro doubled the lead in the 35th minute, expertly controlling Rodrygo’s free-kick before curling a fine finish into the net — his third goal in four matches for club and country.
