Eberechi Eze scored a stunning equalizer as Crystal Palace earned a 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea, who had impressed with a 6-2 victory over Wolves the previous week, dominated the first half.

Cole Palmer’s attempt narrowly missed, and Dean Henderson made a brilliant save against Noni Madueke before Nicolas Jackson broke the deadlock.

ackson tapped in Palmer’s cross at the near post to give Chelsea the lead.

Palace narrowly avoided going down to 10 men when Will Hughes, already on a booking, escaped a second yellow card for a foul on Palmer.

The Eagles found their equalizer when Eze curled a brilliant strike past Chelsea’s goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez.

Sanchez made an excellent save to deny Daichi Kamada’s powerful drive, keeping the score level. Chelsea had a chance to win in stoppage time, but Jackson’s shot was saved by Henderson.

The draw marked a positive turn for Crystal Palace, who had suffered two consecutive losses earlier in the season, while Chelsea now have four points from their first three games.
