Cesc Fabregas’ wife has furiously shut down a report that alleged Lionel Messi had cheated on wife Antonela Roccuzzo.
The football legend has been with Roccuzzo since 2008, and the two tied the knot in 2017.
They are proud parents of three children named Thiago, Mateo, and Circo.
There has never been any negative publicity surrounding the couple, who currently reside in America following Messi’s move to Inter Miami earlier this year.
However, a report from Brazil has alleged that Messi cheated on his partner with an Argentine journalist.
The Brazilian outlet Direto Do Miolo posted to X on Friday, suggesting that Messi and Roccuzzo’s relationship was undergoing its ‘biggest crisis’ to date. The report claimed Messi had been involved in an affair and hinted that their marriage was on the brink of ending.
However, they appeared to rely on anonymous sources, casting doubt on the authenticity of the story.
Now, Fabregas’ wife, Daniella Semaan, has debunked the narrative, indicating that it is entirely fabricated.
“What publication is this that has no meaning.. and has nothing right,” she said while replying to a post on Instagram.
Messi and Fabregas share a longstanding connection, having been part of Barcelona’s renowned La Masia academy together for years. Their paths crossed again when Fabregas returned to Barcelona from Arsenal in 2011.
They achieved success together, winning La Liga in 2013 and contributing to Barcelona’s triumphs in various competitions, including the Copa del Rey, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.
Semaan and Roccuzzo are also acquainted, often spending vacations together with their husbands.
