FIFA bans Liberian football official, Bility for 10 years
A Liberian official, Musa Bility, has been banned from football for 10 years for alleged financial offences on Wednesday by FIFA, Punchng report.
Bility, a former president of the Liberian federation was found guilty of misappropriating FIFA’s funds, according to the organisation.
An investigation opened after an audit of LFA accounts revealed various payments made and received from entities owned by Bility or his family, said FIFA.
Meanwhile, FIFA and CAF presidents Gianni Infantino and Ahmad Ahmad have both been accused of a series of cover ups including allegations of theft, money laundering and sexual harassment by the embattled Bility.
Bility also accused the leadership of the governing bodies of witch-hunting and victimisation in a two-page letter challenging his 10-year ban by the FIFA Ethics Committee for alleged misappropriation of funds as the Liberian FA president.
