FIFA has named Portuguese official, Luis Godinho, as referee for the international friendly match between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, scheduled at the Estadio Municipal de Portimão on October 13th at 5 pm.
This information was conveyed in a statement released by Ademola Olajire, the Director of Communications for the Nigeria Football Federation, in Abuja on Thursday.
Bruno Jesus will serve as the first assistant referee, Tiago Costa as the second assistant referee, and Miguel Noguera will be the fourth official, assisting referee Luis Godinho. Helder Carvalho will oversee the Video Assistant Referee room, with assistance from Bruno Vieira.
This match will mark the second meeting between the two nations.
Nigeria and Saudi Arabia played to a 0-0 draw in a friendly match in preparation for the 2010 FIFA World Cup at the Alpenstadion in Wattens, Austria on May 25, 2010.
The Super Eagles will face Mozambique in another friendly at the same venue on October 16 at 4 p.m.
