Fiorentina striker Moise Kean has been discharged from the hospital after undergoing tests following his collapse during Sunday’s match against Hellas Verona.

The Italian forward sustained a head injury during Fiorentina’s 1-0 loss after a collision with defender Pawel Dawidowicz’s knee.

Despite the impact, Kean continued playing for six minutes before losing his balance and collapsing in the 64th minute.

Medical personnel treated him on the pitch before he was taken to the hospital.

Fiorentina confirmed that Kean was released from a hospital in Verona “during the night” after diagnostic tests returned normal results.

The sixth-placed Serie A side faces Lecce on February 28, but it remains uncertain whether Kean, the club’s leading scorer with 15 league goals this season, will be available for selection.
