Sepp Blatter, the former President of FIFA, recently stated that Iran should be excluded from the World Cup due to the country’s ongoing demonstrations.

The death of a woman while she was in the morality Police’s care prompted the demonstrations.

Blatter declared on Friday that “Iran should be excluded from the World Cup.”

The Swiss insisted that Iran face severe repercussions, and if he had been in charge, he would have disqualified Iran’s team from international play.

The Iranian protests represent one of the most audacious challenges to the country’s clerical leaders since the Islamic Revolution in 1979.

The unrest that has been raging since the death of Iranian Kurdish woman Mahsa Amini in September has been blamed on foreign opponents, according to Iran.

She had passed away following her imprisonment for allegedly breaking Iran’s rigid dress code for women.

The 86-year-old Blatter stated, “It is incomprehensible that FIFA President Gianni Infantino has not taken a clear position on Iran.

This week’s earlier comments by the former president of FIFA, who claimed it had been a mistake to give Qatar the World Cup hosting rights, caused a stir.

The Qatar World Cup is set to begin on November 20 and end on December 18.
