Fulham make £20m bid for Crystal Palace defender Andersen

Fulham have submitted a £20 million bid for Crystal Palace centre-back Joachim Andersen.

The 28-year-old Denmark defender, who joined Palace from Lyon in 2020 for around £20 million, is valued by the Eagles at closer to £40 million.

Fulham are seeking to bolster their defensive ranks following the departures of Tosin Adarabioyo, who joined Chelsea after his contract ended, and Tim Ream, who moved to Charlotte FC.

Earlier this week, Fulham had a bid for Aston Villa defender Diego Carlos rejected but have since completed the signing of Jorge Cuenca from Villarreal.

Andersen, who spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Craven Cottage from Lyon, has made 111 appearances for Palace across all competitions.
