The group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) has concluded, and 16 teams have advanced to the knockout stage.
The group stage matches kicked off on January 13 with the inaugural match between Ivory Coast and Guinea Bissau, wrapping up on January 24.
The group stage witnessed numerous surprising exits, with underdogs securing spots in the knockout stage and some formidable teams being eliminated from the competition.
The Round of 16 matches are set to begin on Saturday, January 27, and will run through until January 30, 2024.
