Chelsea concluded their outstanding FIFA Club World Cup 2025 campaign in style with a commanding 3-0 triumph over Paris Saint-Germain in the final, sealing the title and claiming two major individual honours.

PSG, who entered the final as favourites after a stunning 4-0 rout of Real Madrid, were left stunned by a ruthless first-half display from the Blues. Cole Palmer was the standout performer, scoring twice and assisting new signing Joao Pedro for the third goal, all before halftime. The Parisians were unable to mount a comeback.

Palmer’s stellar showing throughout the tournament, highlighted by his match-winning performance in the final, earned him the Player of the Tournament award. Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez was also rewarded for his consistency between the posts, securing the Golden Glove after keeping three clean sheets.

Despite PSG’s loss, Desire Doue’s emergence as a key player earned him the Young Player of the Tournament, recognising his breakout contributions.

Real Madrid may have missed out on the final, but their forward Gonzalo Garcia finished as the tournament’s top scorer with five goals, earning him the Golden Boot.
