Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala, Nigerian internationals, brought honor to their nation by securing the titles of 2023 CAF Player of the Year in the men’s and women’s categories, respectively.
Osimhen claimed victory in the men’s category, surpassing Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Paris Saint-Germain’s Achraf Hakimi.
Meanwhile, Oshoala secured the women’s category, outperforming South Africa’s Thembi Kgatlana and Zambia’s Barbara Banda.
