Harry Kane delivered a commanding second-half hat-trick as FC Bayern Munich beat VfB Stuttgart in the German Cup final at the Olympiastadion on Saturday, completing a domestic league and cup double.

The opening half was evenly balanced, with neither team able to break the deadlock.

However, Bayern seized momentum after halftime when Kane netted the opener in the 55th minute, nodding in a pinpoint delivery from Michael Olise.

As the match progressed, Bayern’s superiority in attack became more evident.

Kane added his second in the 80th minute, turning swiftly onto a pass from Luis Díaz before coolly slotting the ball home to extend the advantage.

He sealed the hat-trick in stoppage time by converting a penalty, capping an outstanding performance and ensuring Bayern lifted the trophy in emphatic fashion.

The victory wrapped up a superb campaign for Bayern, who had already retained the Bundesliga title and earlier captured the German Supercup. The success also earned them their 21st German Cup crown and first since the 2019–20 campaign.

Kane’s display concluded an extraordinary personal season, with the striker recording 61 goals in 51 matches across all competitions.

The feat also represented his second successive hat-trick, highlighting his exceptional form since arriving at Bayern in 2023 and adding another major honour to his achievements.
