‘I won that fight against Fury,’ Francis Ngannou insists

Former UFC champion Francis Ngannou voiced his disagreement with the ultimate verdict that declared Tyson Fury the victor in the boxing match.

He maintained that he emerged victorious in his boxing match against Fury, even though the split decision favored the British boxer.

Despite knocking down the WBC heavyweight title holder in Round 3, Ngannou experienced a contentious loss in their boxing bout on Saturday night in Saudi Arabia.

During a post-match interview with IU, the Cameroonian star expressed his awareness that he was unlikely to win in a decision if the match went the distance because it marked his debut in boxing.

Ngannou said: “If he is being honest, he would say I won that fight. I won that fight, there’s no question about it.

“But before getting here, I know that if the fight gets to decisions, I’m not winning not because I didn’t do good but because I’m a new guy in the house.”
