Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo, continued his impressive scoring form for Changchun Yatai by grabbing the equalising goal in their 1-1 home draw with 10-man Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League on Saturday.
Ighalo’s strike came in the 71st minute after he was set up by Serbian, Nemanja Pejcinovic.
Shanghai Shenhua took the lead a minute after the half hour mark through Cao Yunding.
They were reduced to 10-men eight minutes from time when Sun Shilin was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Ighalo also grabbed a brace in Changchun Yatai’s previous league game against Tiajin Quanjian, which they won 3-0.
He has now netted 12 goals in 16 appearances in the CSL for his club this season.
The former Watford striker is currently the joint second top scorer in the CSL along with Isreali international, Eran Zahavi.
Changchun Yatai moved from 12th to 10th position in the table following the draw.
